SWEDISH SUMMER SOLSTICE WEDDING AT CROFT FARM
THE REHEARSAL PICNIC
It all started with a box lunch picnic the day before the wedding. Friends and family gathered to toast, share stories and eat the most delicious European inspired picnics under a bright blue summer sky.
THE WEDDING DAY
Surrounded by farm animals, loved ones and a perfect blue sky, Jenny and David tied the knot
The bride and groom described their wedding as a Swedish summer solstice festival. She based her colors on the Swedish orange poppy. They walked down the aisle together before the ceremony and ran down the aisle together afterward (a Swedish tradition). It was indeed a vibrant, gorgeous solstice celebration, including having their guests all camp out there on the farm with them.
My favorite part was the place cards at the tables. They had one card that said what they loved about each of their guests individually. And another card for the guest to draw a self-portrait with colored pencils. Such a fun idea!
The whole wedding was classic, elegant, authentic and so much fun!
