SUNRISE LOVERS ON THE SALT FLATS

We woke up before the sun and drove out into the Utah desert to catch the sun peaking up over the Mars-like landscape of the Bonnville Salt Flats.

As the sun rose higher in the sky, the colors of the landscape changed from deep rich tones to a muted pastel, right before my eyes.  It was surreal.
