What does a photography mentorship look like?
I have been doing one-on-one mentor sessions for the last 5 years and wanted to give you a glimpse into what they look like on the inside.
One of my favorite parts about a mentor session, is designing a shoot for you and I to shoot together. I design it to be something that will allow you to stretch your skills, ask a lot of questions and have some juicy content for your portfolio. These shoots are so much fun!
In these sessions we explore and try anything you are interested in learning or practicing. This includes during and after the shoot. Everything is on the table!
Sessions start out with some one-on-one time where we talk about anything you want to cover, including:
Branding
Social media
Burn out
Attracting ideal clients
Creating the work you dream of
Camera settings
Lighting
Workflow
Goal setting
and the list goes on…
After the shoot, we go over all we learned and cover things like:
Editing
post processing flow
sizing
delivery
Double Exposures
